There have been several calls today from Fayette County residents stating that they are receiving phone calls from other Sheriff's Offices saying they have a warrant for their arrest. The caller then attempts to get the resident to go to retrieve Gift Cards to pay for their bond to avoid being arrested. This is a Scam and no Sheriff's Office in the State would allow someone to post a bond with a gift card. If you receive these calls tell them you are going to report it to your local Sheriff's Office and hang up.

On or after Monday, March 10, crews will close State Road 1 just north of Brookville to complete a slide correction project in Franklin County. Work is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting. The official detour follows S.R. 101 to S.R. 44 to S.R. 1.
