👏👏👏 Let’s give a huge round of applause and a BIG thank you to Woody Hathaway for his 9 incredible years of dedication and service as board president in our neighborhood! We are so grateful for all you’ve done to make our community better. 💙

As of 1/1/25, our former VP, David Niekamp, is stepping in as acting president until the board elects its new officers at the first Executive Session in January. Stay tuned for updates!

Laurel Park Subdivision Stats Update!

📊 2024 vs. 2023 Overview:
-Closed Sales: Up from 22 in 2023 to 30 in 2024 (+36%).
-Median Sale Price: Increased from $528,750 to $595,000 (+13%).
-Average Sale Price: Rose from $544,009 to $591,439 (+9%).
-Median Price/Sq. Ft.: Slight uptick from $194 to $201 (+3.6%).
-Median Days on Market: Remained low, shifting from 6 days in 2023 to 7 days in 2024.
-Average Days on Market: Increased from 15 days in 2023 to 27 days in 2024.
📈 Takeaway: Laurel Park saw a notable rise in sales volume and prices, reflecting strong demand and growth, though a couple of homes took slightly longer to sell on average.

Join us for a festive holiday celebration at the Clubhouse on Thursday, December 12, 2024! The event will be catered by 2 Gals Kitchen, and the menu will include:

Wood-fired Chicken
Slow Roasted Brisket with Jack Daniels BBQ on the side
Cheesy Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Sweet & Savory Green Beans
Rolls with Butter
Dessert
Cost: $21.00 per person

The upcoming Senior Social event on the Clubhouse calendar is on Friday, November 15th.
A Senior Social “Movie Night” event is planned for Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Laurel Park Clubhouse.

Happy Hour 5:00- 6:00 pm Bring your own drinks. Meet and socialize with other LP senior neighbors.
Pizza Dinner 6:00-7:00 pm Pizza will be ordered from Marco’s (at no charge) and delivered to Clubhouse (thin crust, 3 kinds: cheese, pepperoni, and veggie)
You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer gluten-free or you have another pizza favorite.
Movie 7:00-9:00 pm
Enjoy enhanced movie viewing from the Clubhouse’s modern big screen and sound system.
We will choose from a selection of 3 movies.
Popcorn, freshly made, will be available!

Laurel Park Turkey Day 5K/Fun run - Registration is Open!

4 Things To Know About This Year's Event
1. Register by November 13 for the best pricing and a guaranteed t-shirt!

2. 100% of registration fees and donations will be donated to MANNA FoodBank in Western NC to assist with recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene.

3. We will collect food on event day for the Cooperative Christian Ministry Food Pantry.
