The Boil Advisory remains in effect. We will update when we get clearance to do so from the water department. The steps we are following are mandated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and are in place to ensure the safety of our citizens. We know it's inconvenient and we appreciate your patience while our teams follow protocols to keep us all safe and keep our clean water running.

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 The national bird of the USA is more fascinating than you might think. Here are some intriguing facts about this majestic creature and see if you learn something new! 💁‍♀️✨

🦅Incredible Strength: The grip of a Bald Eagle is over 10 times stronger than that of a human. 💪

🦅Impressive Nests: Eagles build their nests atop cliffs to avoid predators and stay close to their prey. These nests can reach up to 13 feet deep! That's one massive nest! 🏞️

🦅White-Headed, Not Bald: Despite their name, Bald Eagles aren't actually bald. They have striking white feathers on their heads, and their name comes from the old English word "piebald," meaning "white-headed." 🦅

🦅Lifelong Mates: Bald Eagles are loyal and mate for life. ❤️

🦅Longevity: In the wild, Bald Eagles can live from 20 to 30 years, and sometimes even longer! 🕰️

🦅Eagle Vision: Though their eyes are the same size as humans, their vision is roughly 8 times stronger. They can spot prey up to 2 miles away. 👀

🦅Speed Demons: Eagles can dive at speeds reaching 100 mph. 🚀

🦅Wingspan Wonders: The largest eagles have an impressive wingspan of around 8 feet! 🕊️

These incredible birds truly are awe-inspiring! 👏👏
