PLEASE READ — IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
I want to be very clear about what this transition means.
I am not departing and I am not walking away from HCTR.
My goal is to return to the field — doing what HCTR was built on — on-scene reporting, photography, and supporting our first responders. The business obligations tied to HCTR have grown into a full-time job and, quite honestly, they have worn me down. That’s the part I’m looking to hand off.
I will continue providing the news for HCTR, just like I always have. With the right person handling the business side, HCTR will be stronger than ever. This is about bringing back the original HCTR — real, on-scene, timely, and truthful reporting.
Being stuck behind a computer has kept me out of the field, and I miss the first responders — the men and women who show up when our lives are on the line. That’s where I belong, and that’s where HCTR does its best work.
HCTR has grown into something that cannot be done by one person alone anymore. This transition allows the page to grow responsibly while maintaining its integrity.
Lastly, I’ve always posted the truth of what’s happening in our community. If factual reporting is met with negativity, speculation, or personal attacks, those individuals are welcome to see their way off the page. This platform is for information, not hostility.
Thank you to everyone who understands the responsibility that comes with local reporting and continues to support HCTR.
