PLEASE READ — IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION

I want to be very clear about what this transition means.

I am not departing and I am not walking away from HCTR.

My goal is to return to the field — doing what HCTR was built on — on-scene reporting, photography, and supporting our first responders. The business obligations tied to HCTR have grown into a full-time job and, quite honestly, they have worn me down. That’s the part I’m looking to hand off.

I will continue providing the news for HCTR, just like I always have. With the right person handling the business side, HCTR will be stronger than ever. This is about bringing back the original HCTR — real, on-scene, timely, and truthful reporting.

Being stuck behind a computer has kept me out of the field, and I miss the first responders — the men and women who show up when our lives are on the line. That’s where I belong, and that’s where HCTR does its best work.

HCTR has grown into something that cannot be done by one person alone anymore. This transition allows the page to grow responsibly while maintaining its integrity.

Lastly, I’ve always posted the truth of what’s happening in our community. If factual reporting is met with negativity, speculation, or personal attacks, those individuals are welcome to see their way off the page. This platform is for information, not hostility.

Thank you to everyone who understands the responsibility that comes with local reporting and continues to support HCTR.

🚨 HUNT COUNTY THEFT REPORTS — PAGE FOR SALE 🚨

This is not an easy post to make, but it’s time for me to be honest and transparent with our community.

I am officially considering selling Hunt County Theft Reports (HCTR).

My passion has always been being on scene — documenting events, supporting first responders, and telling the story as it happens. Over time, the business side of HCTR has grown into a full-time responsibility, and I’m at a point where I want to step back from that side and focus solely on on-scene photography and reporting.

This decision is about burnout, balance, and doing what I love most, not walking away from the community. I do NOT want this page to “go to crap” or fall into the wrong hands. HCTR deserves someone who understands the responsibility that comes with it.

🔹 What’s Included:

• Hunt County Theft Reports page
• Established website tied to HCTR
• Active advertisers that must be honored and managed
• Strong local reach, credibility, and community trust

🔹 What’s NOT Included:
• Any of our other county or sister pages
• This is HCTR ONLY

This page comes with real obligations — advertisers, a website, and a community that relies on accurate, responsible reporting. Because of that, ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES PLEASE.

If you’re someone who:

✔️ Understands local news & community reporting
✔️ Can manage advertisers professionally
✔️ Wants an established, trusted local media page
✔️ Will protect what HCTR stands for

Then message me directly to talk details.

I’m not in a rush — I’m looking for the right person, not just a buyer.

This post is not up for debate or negativity.
If you’re here to criticize or “beat me down,” now is not the time.

This is a professional decision made to protect the integrity of HCTR and my own well-being. Serious inquiries only. Respect is expected.

Thank you to everyone who has supported HCTR over the years. This page has meant more to me than most people will ever know.

I am blessed and honored to announce the endorsement of Hunt County Sheriff Terry Jones in my campaign for Justice of the Peace.
Sheriff Jones’ dedication to public safety and service to our community means a great deal to me.
I am grateful for his confidence and support as we work together for Hunt County. 🇺🇸
