In 2024, May you run out ROOM TO RECEIVE! May you need new containers for the OVERFLOW God is going to pour out!

Sometimes “life be life-ing” so hard that it’s hard to recognize the truth about the matter. The truth is, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. The truth is, that we are more than conquerors. The truth is, that God causes us to triumph in all things. The truth is, that NO weapon formed against us shall prosper. I pray that this encourages you to remember the truth and when trials come in your life, you remember that you can lean and depend on the truth of God’s word!

I do a lot of things for a lot of people. I go and travel a lot of places. However, my favorite thing to do is to worship! 🙌🏾My favorite place to be is in the presence of God! 🙌🏾There is literally nothing like His presence!

God is so amazing! This afternoon, I had the wonderful opportunity to do an interview with WTVM News Leader 9 about the Performing Arts Workshops of Thomas H. Brewer Elementary or as we like to call it, P.A.W.s! I am truly humbled that they decided to stop by and highlight some the wonderful things going on at the school and the way that the students participating are making a positive impact in the school and the community. To God be ALL the glory!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

NOBODY like Jesus! People may disappoint you. Things may fail you but God never will! He’s too faithful to fail. He’s just THAT kind of God! 🤷🏾‍♀️There’s nobody like Him!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to minister at the Unite Women's Ministry annual conference at New Birth Outreach Church. The faithfulness of God was shared the entire weekend and in the end, our position was to offer praise for all He had done. 🙌🏾
Thank you to Pastor Coleman and First Lady Monica Coleman for having me!
My prayer is that in everything I do, people see God in me and that He gets all the glory!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

From a very young age, my mother instilled in me a love for the performing arts. At the tender age of 4, she enrolled me at the former Martin Luther King Early Learning Center. While I was there, I was taught academics as well as ballet, music and so much more. My school was near the King Center so, naturally, I was taught black history. To some, it may just look like preschool, but this was my foundation and introduction to the performing arts as well the precursor to the arts auxiliaries that I now teach at my own school.
Today, I am a step coach, ballet instructor, and poetry and acting coach. I also produce, write and direct one of the largest black history programs in my school district!
Wow! What a full circle moment!

Standing on that stage was both exciting and humbling! I felt honored to represent my profession, my school and all of the performing arts auxiliaries that I oversee at my school. I was able to magnify the good that’s going on at my school as well highlight the blessing it has been to have The Community Schools United Team at our school. I will never forget this moment or all of the wonderful people I met. I pray that the moment was a seed and the beginning of greater things to come!

Last week, I had the opportunity to minister at the Unite Women's Ministry annual conference at New Birth Outreach Church! The theme was “Faithful” and God truly reminded us of His faithfulness through every testimony, word released and song sang! There was such a beautiful atmosphere of freedom in Jesus the entire weekend.
Thank you to Pastor Coleman and First Lady Monica Coleman for your invitation, love, support and hospitality all weekend! I am truly grateful for the experiences I encountered in God’s presence during this conference.

Let Praises Rise Pt. 2

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to minister at the Unite Women's Ministry annual conference at New Birth Outreach Church. Then Vs. Now When I think back on where I came from and where I am now, I am simply in awe of the goodness of God! 🙌🏾From a toddler in a pair of ballet shoes to a step team coach, ballet instructor and writer that produces and directs one of the biggest Black History productions in my school district… just WOW! I couldn’t have imagined I’d be where I am today. God has been truly been faithful! 🙌🏾 I realize that this is just the beginning and I can’t wait to see what God’s going to do next!
