Vice President Harris brought a little bit of her Republican rival into her own campaign event on Monday in a bid to try to make more people pay attention to some of the most extreme threats he has made on the trail.

Vice President Harris wants voters to pay more attention when Trump talks about "the enemy within." On Monday, she played a highlight reel to paint him as “increasingly unstable and unhinged.”

The ruling comes as several Republican local election board members have already declined to certify election results from primary contests earlier this year and after the Georgia State Election Board passed new rules that appeared to allow this discretion. Georgia’s Republican secretary of state has long emphasized that certification is not optional under Georgia law.

Local election board members in Georgia cannot refuse to certify election results in any scenario, even if they report concerns about fraud or errors, a state judge has ruled.

Ukraine has dramatically amped up domestic production of both attack and reconnaissance drones since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. This year, the Ukrainian government allocated $2 billion to produce at least 1 million first-person-view, or FPV, drones, which are equipped with cameras that transmit video to remote pilots.

Chief Executive Tim Wentworth said about a quarter of the company’s stores are unprofitable. Walgreens has been on a $1-billion cost-cutting spree. It's already been shutting some stores, shaking up leadership and renegotiating its deals with insurers.

Walgreens says about a quarter of its stores are unprofitable. Big pharmacy chains are struggling with growing retail competition and lower prescription payouts.

The drought in Ohio this year is ongoing, even after the remnants of Hurricane Helene drenched much of the state. The U.S. Drought Monitor shows extreme and exceptional drought ratings stretching through much of central and eastern Ohio. The drought gave farmers headaches through this year's growing season, prompting an official drought declaration opening up federal aid to farmers impacted.

A record-breaking drought did not stop Bob and Jo Liggett from Pickaway County from growing another record-breaking pumpkin.

Over the course of a few days in mid-September, posters cropped up in cities across Ohio. They are royal blue, teal, red and white with bold designs: a ballot box as a speaker, a dove carrying a banner, a hand picking a petal of a flower. And all of them have the same message: VOTE!

Ahead of November 5th, ArtsVote Ohio is turning to art to push voters to the polls.

Johnny Gaudreau’s Columbus teammates have been given a few options for how to handle their emotions during the Blue Jackets’ home opener. If you want to cry, cry.
If you want to laugh, laugh. The only rules — play the game the way “Johnny Hockey” would, and with him in mind.

An emotional night awaits in Columbus on Tuesday, when the Blue Jackets host the Florida Panthers. It will be a night of tributes to Gaudreau.

Europa Clipper is carrying nine science instruments, including two that will catch dust and gas, and a gravity experiment that uses telecommunications systems, the agency says. Weighing 13,000 pounds (almost half of which is fuel), Europa Clipper has 24 engines and is about the length of a basketball court when its solar arrays are open. The spacecraft is expected to reach Mars in February 2025 and swing back by Earth in 2026 to give Europa Clipper “enough energy to reach Jupiter” using the planets' gravity, NASA says.

Europa Clipper will make a six-year journey to Jupiter to study Europa, an icy-surfaced moon that scientists believe has “ingredients for life.”

This is the first time Harris, 59, has released results of a physical. Similar to reports released by previous commanders-in-chief, the two-page letter says that Harris is in excellent health and has “the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.” Harris told reporters traveling with her that every candidate for president had released medical information "except Donald Trump in this election cycle."

Vice President Harris' campaign is using the report to underscore the fact that she is younger than her Republican rival — who has not released much information about his health.

Kids as young as 15 were stripping on TikTok’s live feature fueled by adults who were paying for it. That’s what TikTok learned when it launched an internal investigation after a report on Forbes. Officials at TikTok discovered that there was “a high” number of underage streamers receiving a “gift” or “coin” in exchange for stripping — real money converted into a digital currency often in the form of a plush toy or a flower.

A trove of secret documents show teens’ increasing reliance on TikTok and how executives were acutely aware of the potential harm the app can cause young people, but appeared unconcerned.

It can be hard to talk about politics, even with the people we love. About 1 in 4 people in the U.S. say they’ve ended a friendship due to political disagreements. And many voters say they have few or no friends on the other side of the political aisle.

With only weeks to a divisive election it can be hard to talk politics. Polarization can damage our relationships and our health. We have strategies to reduce election stress, starting with ourselves.

While AAPI voters have overwhelmingly voted blue in the past, they haven’t been strongly tied to a specific party, which means they are persuadable targets. But once engaged in politics, Asian American voters tend to stay engaged.

Asian Americans are the fastest growing-voting group in the country. That means parties are courting them in tight races in states like Pennsylvania.

Vice President Kamala Harris is pledging Monday to legalize recreational ma*****na, protect cryptocurrency assets and give 1 million loans to Black entrepreneurs, as part of her efforts to court Black voters who may be pivotal in the presidential race.

Polls show that some Black men may be gravitating toward former President Trump or not vote at all. Vice President Harris and other prominent Democrats are trying to counter that.

This presidential campaign, former President Donald Trump and other Republicans have been repeating the false narrative that Democrats are purposefully letting migrants into the country so they will vote. There’s no evidence for the claim, which echoes a racist conspiracy theory known as the "great replacement." In fact, allegations about voter fraud and noncitizens have been floating around American politics for more than a century.

All the available evidence suggests that a miniscule number of noncitizens vote illegally in federal elections and not in numbers that would sway the outcome of any race.

Sheriff’s deputies stopped Vem Miller at an interior check-point in Coachella, near the rally, and found he was illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun and a high-capacity magazine. He also had numerous passports and drivers licenses under different names and his SUV had fake plates, Sheriff Chad Bianco said at a Sunday news conference. Bianco described Miller as a "lunatic" and member of Sovereign Citizens.

To fully appreciate how far the Cuyahoga has come, you have to understand its troubled history. For many decades, it was a dumping ground for industrial waste from the region’s factories. By the 1960s, it had become “a completely unregulated sewer,” says Elaine Marsh, the president and co-founder of Friends of the Crooked River.

The plight of the river, which empties into Lake Erie at Cleveland, helped inspire the Clean Water Act. Now it attracts kayakers and anglers and could soon be removed from an EPA watchlist.
