Jennifer Rowley’s Aria Boot Camp 2024 is in the books! What a whirlwind two weeks of new friends and fabulous singing. We loved working with all of the singers and can’t wait for you to show off your videos! Special thanks to Jennifer Rowley for developing this amazing program and bringing us back for another year!

Audition season is coming 👀. We’ve been busy testing a bunch of affordable tech options so you don’t have to! Our goal this season is to find the best moderately priced setup that you can use at home for all your audition video needs. We had our first studio event this week! We were joined by some fabulous opera singers for an Open Sing event. Each singer shared an aria or song and a little bit about their singing journey. We topped off the evening with wine and desserts! Thanks to everyone who came out and to Beth Parker for helping to organize and playing so beautifully!

So I’ve decided that I want to share more ✨Audio Tips✨ with everyone since we’re about to head into audition season. Today’s topic is setting mic levels! Every time you record, you should be testing your microphone to make sure that the right amount of signal is coming through. You can also do a test record passage of something loud just to double check that 1. You can hear it at a good volume and 2. Nothing is sounding distorted or “crunchy.” Check out the tutorial!!
