With the new state budget in the process of being passed, we are once again facing an impediment to the continued growth of the film industry in Ohio. The House introduced a raised cap of $75 million per year, but that was reduced to $50 million in the Senate version of HB 33. We are asking members....

🗓️ Ten years ago today, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" started filming in Cleveland! This was the second Marvel Cinematic Universe project to after "The Avengers" in 2011.

Cap, Black Widow, Nick Fury, and The Winter Soldier filmed all over Cleveland, most famously shutting down the West Shoreway, and filming scenes in The Cleveland Museum of Art, the Lakeview Cemetery, and more! (Not to mention Steve and Natasha sharing a kiss on an escalator in Tower City.)

Next time you’re in the Shoe (or, Ohio Stadium for those who prefer the more formal name), be sure to look at the Jumbotron between plays and you just might see our work. We’ve been creating scoreboard animations for years, for teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins (to name a few), and this year we’ve made chase ribbons and big screen graphics for Diamond Cellar – the highest quality jeweler in Central Ohio (and a client for which we’ve been providing the highest quality TV and radio ads for more than twenty years). As for Horizons’ and Diamond Cellar’s involvement with OSU athletics, some may fondly recall the “Say I Do in the Shoe” campaign we collaborated on a few years ago. But for the upcoming 2022-23 football (and basketball) seasons, the theme is “Diamond Cellar: Where Buckeyes Get Engaged”. We sure hope that you engage with the Buckeyes this season and cheer your hearts out for the Scarlet and Gray…and that you also engage with our fun animations on the big screen…and who knows, maybe afterward that you actually get engaged with a beautiful piece of jewelry – from the Diamond Cellar of course!

We're looking for some people with ethnic accents to read some very short bits of script for an educational video program. Here are the types of voices we are looking for right now:
West African or Nigerian man, age 30's-40's
West African or Nigerian woman, age 30's - 40's
Asian man, age 60's - 70's
African American teen girl
African American woman, age 40's - 50's
Hispanic Latina woman, age 20's
Indian teen girl

In most cases, it's just a few seconds of material to read, and we will pay you $50 for about 5 minutes work.
In a couple of cases, the material is a little longer, and we will pay $100 -$150 for about 20 minutes work.

Please reply if you or someone you know might be interested, but we need to do the recordings soon - within the next week or two.
