SCHOOL IS VIRTUAL TOMORROW IN MUSCOGEE COUNTY!

Due to several impassable roads and the ongoing hazardous road conditions that still exist in several parts of the Columbus area, and out of an abundance of caution for our school buses, all MCSD schools will continue with virtual learning on Friday, January 24, 2025. District offices will also remain closed.

The following changes will also remain in effect:

• All field trips scheduled for Friday, January 24, 2025, are canceled.
• All afterschool activities, including athletics, are canceled.

📣 MCSD UPDATE - school will be virtual now Tuesday, Jan 21

Dear Parents and Guardians,

UPDATE TO THE WEATHER ADVISORY:

Based on the most recent National Weather Service (NWS) updates that revised the potential timing of the winter weather impact in the Columbus area, all MCSD schools and district offices will follow a virtual schedule on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. For this transition, teachers have prepared engaging lessons, which are uploaded to the Canvas digital platform.

The following changes are also in effect:

• All field trips scheduled for Tuesday, January 21st, are canceled.
• All afterschool activities, including athletics, are canceled.

📣 EARLY DISMISSAL FOR MUSCOGEE COUNTY TUESDAY, JAN. 21

ATTENTION Parents and Guardians,

Due to anticipated severe weather, all Muscogee County School District schools and offices will follow a modified schedule on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families.

• Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:15 p.m.
• Middle schools will dismiss at 1:10 p.m.
• High schools will dismiss at 2:00 p.m.
• The central office will close at 4:00 p.m.

All afternoon activities, field trips, and out-of-district travel are canceled.
