A Time to Conceive: Lessons from the Birth of Jesus

As we continue our Christmas Stories Series, we find ourselves at the threshold of a new year, filled with promise and possibility. In Luke 2:6-7, we read about the miraculous conception of Jesus, a reminder that this season is a time to conceive - not just physically, but also spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.

Conception is a powerful process that can happen in an instant, but its ex*****on often requires patience, trust, and perseverance. Just as a baby is conceived in a moment but takes nine months to arrive, our ideas, dreams, and visions also need time to gestate and mature. The story of Jesus' birth encourages us to conceive anew, to dream big, and to trust that God will bring our desires to fruition.

As we stand at the cusp of a new year, I urge you not to let this season pass you by. Take time to tarry in prayer, to seek God's presence, and to demand conception - whether it's for a child, a business idea, or clarity on your divine assignment. If you're married, join hands with your spouse and pray together, just as Hannah prayed for a child and God answered her cry.

Remember the story of Jacob, who received a business idea from God and became wealthy beyond his wildest dreams? Or the story of the prophet Isaiah, who declared that God would give us a plan and a purpose, and that we would prosper? These stories are precedents for us, reminders that God is a God of conception and delivery.

As we look to the new year, I declare that 2025 will be a year of multiple deliveries for you. You will see the manifestation of your desires, the fulfillment of your dreams, and the realization of your visions. Isaiah 66:7-9 reminds us that our God is a God who makes conception and delivery possible, and that He will bring to pass all that He has promised.

So let us approach this new year with faith, hope, and expectation. Let us conceive anew, and trust that God will bring our desires to fruition. In Jesus' name, I pray that 2025 will be a year of multiple deliveries, a year of abundance, joy, and fulfillment. Amen.

Belief is Key

As we continue our Christmas Stories Series, exploring Lessons from the Birth of Jesus, we're reminded of the power of belief. In Luke 1:45, Elizabeth's statement "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" highlights the importance of trust and faith in our relationship with God.

But what does it mean to truly believe? Is it just a mental assent or a deep-seated trust? Elizabeth's belief was rooted in her personal experience with God, who had fulfilled his promise to her and her husband Zachariah despite physical circumstances that seemed impossible.

In John 11:25, Jesus reminds us that even in the face of death and despair, our belief in Him can bring life and resurrection. What has died in your life? Is it hope, a business, a ministry, or a relationship? Jesus says, "If you believe in me, whatever has died shall live."

As we approach the new year, 2025, we're expectant and praying for great things. But we must remember that our belief is not just about acknowledging God's existence, but about relying on Him for direction and counsel. Do you put God's word above all else? Do you trust in His promises and character?

Take time to reflect on your beliefs and ask yourself:

- What evidence do I have of God's faithfulness in my life?
- Do I truly rely on God for direction and counsel?
- Have I experienced God's presence and power in my life?

As we celebrate this season, remember that Belief is Key. Create your 2025 based on the integrity and infallibility of God's word, His character, and how He has shown up for you before.

Join us for Fruitful Friday Prayers tomorrow on Zoom at 6:00am EST & 12:00 Noon WAT as we pray and believe God for a remarkable 2025. Let's start the new year with faith, hope, and trust in our Heavenly Father.

Lessons from the Birth of Jesus

Lesson 4: What fills your belly?

As we continue to revisit the story of the birth of our Lord Jesus as recorded for us in the Holy Book, Elizabeth's encounter with Mary in Luke 1:39-41 provides another learning opportunity for us.
When Elizabeth heard Mary's voice, the baby in her belly leaped. Following that moment, the prophetic unction came upon Elizabeth, she started to prophecy. Read Luke 1: 39-41.

Today's lesson is a poignant reminder that whatever controls us or fills us will inevitably manifest
outwardly- be it our utterances, behavior and or beliefs. Elizabeth’s experience is challenging us to look within, examine our inner motivations, thoughts, desires, feelings and emotions. They speak volumes about who we are!

“Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭15‬:‭17‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Regardless of the outcome of your inner journey, which is highly important, determine to be better. There’s a better you that you can become. The “you” that God is waiting for you to become; the “you” that Jesus hoped you would become by sacrificing himself for you!

Revisiting the birth story of Jesus also reminds us of His unobsolete invitation in .John 7:37-39 "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will flow from his belly."

If you’re looking for a community that's dedicated to helping people connect with their inner being and become better, then l invite to join the Authentic You Coaching Program Wait-list. Christmas Stories Series: Lessons from the Birth of Jesus

Lesson 3:Mary’s positive sense of self.

Let's reflect on the remarkable response of Mary, the mother of Jesus to Angel Gabriel’s message that she will conceive and give birth to the Savior. "Then Mary said, Behold, _I am the handmaiden of the Lord_; let it be done to me according to what you have said." Luke 1:38

There are two important lessons we can learn from this simple statement:
Mary has a solid sense of identity. Rooted in her statement is her of purpose, core values, beliefs, roles and goals. “I am” are two powerful words that define who we are. ( Jesus later came up with 7 “I ams” in His ministry). My question to you is: Who are you? What are your core values, beliefs and goals as a person?
This season is a good time to go on a personal self discovery journey. . . Mary’s confession is positive. And, she later received what confessed. What are your confessions? Your confession becomes your possession. Be mindful of what you confess. Train yourself or learn to always be positive even if your circumstances don’t look good. With your confession you can either create a positive or negative outcome - choose wisely. Proverbs 18:21

Our mission at Connect Coaching Center is to walk alongside you in your self discovery journey while equipping you with tools that will transition you from where you are to where you desire to be.
Our upcoming coaching program, The Authentic You Coaching Program is a perfect fit for this journey. To learn more about AUCP, and enjoy the benefits of early registration, we encourage you to join our waitlist by clicking this link:
