Every year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands in solidarity to strengthen our commitment to ending domestic violence and supporting those affected by it.

Today we celebrate Purple Thursday with organizations nationwide committed to standing up to make a difference and empower every individual to find strength and healing.

Domestic violence affects people from all walks of life, and it's our duty to break the silence, raise awareness, and offer our unwavering support. Let's continue the conversation, educate ourselves and others, and work towards creating a world where everyone can live free from fear and violence.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated is proud to support and uplift individuals with disabilities, advocating for their rights and amplifying their voices. We believe that disability should never hinder one’s ability to achieve greatness, pursue dreams, and make a lasting impact.

National Disability Independence Day commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark piece of legislation that protects the rights of individuals with disabilities and promotes equality. We recognize this landmark and the success it has brought, while also emphasizing the ongoing work to promote accessibility and inclusiveness.

Today, we stand in solidarity with our disabled population, honoring their courage, tenacity, and numerous contributions to society. Let us work together to increase awareness, create inclusivity, and advocate equality for people with disabilities.

Let's celebrate this historic day by appreciating our accomplishments while also recognizing the work that remains. Join us in promoting the idea of empowerment and removing obstacles to make the world more open to everyone. Let's stand up for disabled people's rights and make sure their views are heard clearly.

Under the leadership of Sheryl P. Underwood, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated launched one of its most sacred recognitions, honoring our Zeta Doves, members who have served our sisterhood and their communities for more than fifty years. Past President Underwood also completed and formally dedicated The Z-HOPE Health Center at the Afua Kobi Ampen Girls High School in Trabuom, Ghana, where over 2,000 students have received much-needed medical services. A Daytime Emmy Award Winner, President Underwood is an actress and comedian and can be seen daily on your local CBS network as a television host on "The Talk."

Sigma Omicron Zeta Chapter invites you to come out on Saturday, January 15th from 10:00 - 12:00 pm to Alexander Park to help support Spectrum Autism Support Group and Moore Middle School's autism classrooms with art supplies. The art supplies that are needed are washable paint, paintbrushes, dry erase markers, tape, copy paper, glue sticks, and stickers.
