The Polk Cares 4 Kids fundraiser is set for Saturday, Feb. 8 at Tryon International Equestrian Center. The event, which helps raise money for extracurricular experiences, arts programming and athletics participation in Polk County Schools, will include dinner, entertainment and silent and live auctions.

Polk County Schools, in collaboration with the Polk Schools Fund through the Polk County Community Foundation, will host the annual Polk Cares 4 Kids (PC4K) fundraising event on Saturday, Feb.

The third season of Polk County Volleyball Academy will begin Sunday at Polk County High School. PCVC Academy is designed for boys and girls in grades 1-8, with practices each Sunday through March and one local tournament per month.
