Sensational Seasonality-Carrots
From Peter Jackson's two second cameo in Lord of the Rings to anthropomorphized singing carrots in Veggie Tales, there are plenty of carrot-featuring scenes in television and cinema!
Carrots, commonly associated with rabbits like Bugs Bunny, could be featured in a film with a rabbit protagonist, serving as both a food item and cultural icon. They could also help establish a rural setting in late fall and winter, since that is when they are in season in the United States. Either way, we love the veg representation!

Ants on a Log
Don't let the name fool you! "Ants on a log" is a delicious and nutritious after school snack option! 🎒🍽️
It's super easy to make, too! First, grab some celery sticks. Then, fill the insides with a nut butter of choice. The last step calls for your "ants," AKA, your raisins. (🐜=🍇) Place them on top and enjoy a treat that boasts a strong mix of carbohydrates, protein, and fats, as well as an assortment of important micronutrients.
(P.S. if you don't like raisins, you can sub for cranberries or another form of dried fruit.)
