"The Voice of Grove City" is the highlight of our annual Arts in the Alley Festival and Community Parade, offering local musicians an incredible stage to display their vocal prowess.

Event Details:

What: A day-long vocal competition where singers aged 13 and up perform for thousands of spectators and a panel of esteemed judges.
1st Prize: $2,500 sponsored by Broadway Fireplace & Decor and our $500 People's Choice award sponsored by BeLocal Southwest Columbus

Welcome, Mr. Jordan!

Help us in welcoming Mr. Matthew Jordan as the South-Western City School District's new Assistant Superintendent of Personnel (Human Resources) starting August 1.

Jordan returns to SWCSD having previously served as an assistant principal at Franklin Heights High School (FHHS) and a social studies teacher and coach at Grove City High School (GCHS). He replaces Dr. Susan Hayward who retired from the position in December 2023. Prior to his return to the district, Jordan spent that last six years as an administrator with Upper Arlington Schools most recently serving as their Chief Talent Officer. In his new role, Jordan will oversee the district's human resources initiatives.

This Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m. The Naz Church's group, Young At Heart at The Naz Church is showing a video of the play Show Us the Promise, which was once a live show put on by staff near Easter that was loved by the community as thousands came to see it each year. Grove City long-timers are invited to come reminisce as well as those who haven't yet seen it.
