Meet The Quick Recovery
This little beauty, unearthed by David Wondrich, originally called for lime juice-but I used lemon because that’s what I had on hand. Saw this recently on Anders Erickson’s @anderserickson YouTube channel and had to try it:
• 1.5 oz rye whiskey
• 0.5 oz Benedictine
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice (or lime, if you’re going classic!)
• 0.25 oz Demerara syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Shake, strain, and enjoy the perfect blend of bold and bright.
Don’t forget to save this for later!🤙

Are you ready to shoot for the moon with this delicious cocktail?
🌙 This drink is a twist on a gin-based Old Fashioned, with pear liqueur, cinnamon syrup, and grapefruit bitters. It’s perfect for cozy autumn nights or any occasion that calls for a smooth and spicy sip.
By swapping the gin from a juniper heavy style to something more floral and mixing orange and grapefruit bitter together, we can take this from autumn to spring in a hurry.
2 oz Gin of choice - @unclevals
.5 oz pear liqueur (if you want this drier go with a pear brandy as the OG recipe calls for)
.25 oz cinnamon syrup
2-3 dashes grapefruit and orange bitters
Build it in the glass over a large block of ice. Stir and enjoy!🤙
Cheers to the moon and back! 🥂
