Hi, our names are Raiza, Des and Cedrick. We have started this fund raising to help our brother Syver (32 years old) for his treatment from STAGE 4 APPENDICEAL CANCER. Appendix cancer — also called appendiceal cancer — is a rare disease. It occurs when the cells in the appendix mutate (change) and grow out of control. This type of cancer is very rare and can only be known when the patient undergoes appendectomy.
The diagnosis was very sudden. Last week he had Emergency Colostomy and Appendectomy. The week before that, he was just fine only complaining of back pains. Life was okay.
But now, together with his young family, his wife Maria Angelique and his 7 months old daughter, we are faced with this devastating news. He is just a new dad, a new husband and is just starting their own family.
We cannot understand how this happened to our brother and to our family but we pray for his recovery. And to be able to fight this battle, we created this platform to relieve some of his financial burden from the operation to his upcoming chemo sessions.
