Who doesn’t love a gorgeous exterior location shoot? 😍 We’ve had so much fun collaborating with Continental to film 11 of their 12 communities across the Midwest. Now we’re editing and just hoping for snow to thaw to be able to film the 12th. ❄️

With this cold weather being just a little too of top of mind, we wanted to distract you with a nice little editing sequence of a project near and dear to us. This past fall, we had the privilege of collaborating with the incredible team at YMCA of Central Ohio to create a Youth Development Showcase that highlights the real impact and joy their services and activities provide Central Ohio youth. We’re excited to continue to work with YMCA of Central Ohio this year to highlight all of the fun, dedication and passion involved in their day-to-day programs, from early learning to high school and beyond. We are incredibly lucky to not only be able to know, but to get to use our skillsets to celebrate amazing organizations (and the wonderful individuals involved) like the YMCA of Central Ohio, United Way of Central Ohio and of course Action for Children. We love our community and those working tirelessly to positively build it up. Thank you 🫶

Our hearts are with Southern California.

Each year, for the last eight years, we’ve been honored to film the Ventura County Fire Department’s Training Academy and have also shot with the Los Angeles County Fire Department for several projects. We know firsthand just how dedicated and hard working these amazing firefighters are and will continue to be until the flames are out and communities can start healing. With loved ones in affected areas, we’ll continue hoping for complete containment as quickly as possible.

Your FF Team has been mourning the loss of our “talent scout,” Kota, who we had to say goodbye to yesterday afternoon. She was an almost 10-year-old German Shepard-Akita mix, who first met Jenny and Zach at Ventura County Animal Services in 2016. Who rescued who? Your FF Team knows the answer.

In addition to her support in casting, especially hand models, she was also on our office welcome committee and thoroughly enjoyed a good team lunch. She suffered with partial paralysis in her later years and eventually a hernia but her heart and welcoming personality never wavered.

Kota, your presence at Frankart Film is painfully missed. 🎥🐕💕
