Another creepy cinema! This morning we finally got a chance to see the brand new Nosferatu. What a show! It was shot absolutely beautifully and what's crazy is that it's not what I expected at all. I love that they kept it dark and that the creature was not some beautiful man that occasionally transforms into a scary creature but rather someone you fear from the moment you sense him. If you are a fan of vampires and the lore of vampires I strongly recommend this one. They do not shy away from the grotesque and the rawness of where the story takes place and the time. If you are someone who usually waits to watch the movies at home like me, I strongly suggest that you go see this in the theaters to really get the experience. The story of vampires usually originates from some other vampire changing them into a baby vampire but I really appreciate that this one is more of a possession in my opinion. You can see who this human once was but the demon is who you see now. Great movie!

2025, we're catching up on cinema that we've either missed over the years. It was either too scary for us, and we were chickens, OR we weren't alive yet.
Today on Creepy Cinema, we watched "28 Days Later."
This was not what I expected. Right out the gate, we saw more of Cillian Murphy than we ever thought we would, but this was not your average zombie movie. Disease spreads fast, zombies move fast, and change from man to monster is equally as fast, and we're not even talking about the zombies. There were several moments where we gritted our teeth and quickly inhaled as we took in the scenes. This movie came out in 2002 and I think at the time it was too scary to watch. I highly recommend this one and also greatly understand how it became an icon in the horror movie genre.
