The Date
November 16, 1966.

The Place
Point Pleasant , West Virginia, in an area known as “The TNT area”

The Story
Late one night, 2 couples Roger and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary and Mallette were out cruising in Roger’s black 1957 Chevy, to a location known as “The TNT Area”.

This area was known as a local hangout and a place known for people to drag race and show off their cars.

When they got next to the abandoned North Power Plant, they noticed 2 glowing red eyes that appeared to reflect in the headlights.

It was then that they noticed these glowing red orbs belonged to a creature. A tall, winged man-liked bodied creature appeared to have gone around the building.
They described the creature as not running and wobbled as it disappeared around the building.
Linda described the body as 6 to 7 feet tall and half man - half creature, you could see muscles in its legs, and that the creature appeared to have its wings tucked behind its back.

Frightened, they took off toward route 62 in a hurry .

Completely terrified, they all kept screaming to go
Faster! Faster!
The winged creature swooped and swayed through the back window behind the roaring Chevy as they accelerated.

Accelerating to speeds of over 100 miles per hour. They could not outrun it.
Sounds of the wings scraping on the metal, and they drove as fast as they could down the road.

The House of Wax 1953
Wax sculptor Henry (Vincent Price) is horrified to learn that his business partner, Matthew (Roy Roberts), plans on torching their wax museum to collect on the insurance policy. Henry miraculously survives a fiery confrontation with Matthew and re-emerges some years hence with a museum of his own. But when the appearance of Henry's new wax sculptures occurs at the same time that a number of corpses vanish from the city morgue, art student Sue Allen (Phyllis Kirk) begins suspecting wrongdoing.
