I got an email from phish.net this morning wishing me a "Happy Phishiversary". I opened it up and, sure enough, it's been 27 years since my first Phish show! What a long, strange trip it's been. (Or, more appropriately, Twenty Years Later > Seven Below ?)

Happy birthday to East Bay Ray! Wikipedia lists his birthday as 11/17/48, but the Dead Kennedys website says 11/17/58. I'm leaning toward the latter as being correct. I had a couple DK songs lined up to end the show, but Shawn was so excited to start his show that he jumped in before Viva Las Vegas started. ;-) We got one song in there!

I thought this one came together in a pleasing fashion.

To my chagrin, about 20 minutes in I realized that it was Les Claypool's birthday, at which point 2 Months Ago Me said "We were going to do a whole show based on the Claypool universe!"
2 And 1/2 Hours Ago Me replied with the only retort available: "Oops."
Missed the bus on that one, but like I said, I thought that this was a pretty solid show.
