Warmer temperatures will arrive later this week to the upper 50s to near 60 degrees, which is near and above normal for this time of year. This warm up will eventually lead to better chances of rain over the weekend.

Good morning! We're cloudy and cold as we wake up and get the work week started. An area of low pressure moving through the southeast may bring a stray shower to the Southern Midlands, but almost all of us will remain dry. Peeks of sunshine will help high temperatures reach the upper-40s.

Increasing clouds overnight with lows dropping into the upper 20s. Monday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower, mainly in the southern Midlands. Highs will climb to near 50 degrees. The week ahead will still be chilly with generally dry conditions until the weekend. Showers become likely next Saturday and into early Sunday. Temperatures by then will be milder and closer to normal. Highs will be in the middle and upper 50s. The following week looks unseasonably cold again. Besides a stray shower Monday, rain chances should hold off for the Midlands until next weekend. An incoming cold front will bring in periodic showers Saturday through Sunday. Rain totals could be around 1" by the end of the weekend.

Mostly clear and cold conditions overnight with lows dropping down to the lower 20s. Mostly sunny, but still chilly on Sunday with highs in the middle 40s. Clouds return on Monday with a slight chance of a passing shower. Highs will be near 50 degrees. A front moves through the state on Monday, behind it colder air filters in again with highs dropping back into the middle 40s by Wednesday and low will be in the lower 20s Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
