🤔💭Ask yourself this question: “What is the source of my confidence”?
🥰Modern psychology and culture pushes the concepts of self-love and self-worth through the practice of positive self-affirmations such as “I am enough”, “I am brave”, “I am strong” and “I am able” to build our self-esteem and self-confidence, but what happens when we’re undoubtedly faced with challenges bigger than our own abilities?
💔When our confidence is rooted in our own power, strength and abilities, personal and professional failures can lead to great discouragement and subsequent despair.
˗ˏˋ ✞ ˎˊ˗There is great news for Christians! God wants to be our source of confidence. He wants us to feel enough, brave, strong and able through HIS love, with His strength and by His power!

👉With Labor Day having recently come and gone, I wonder how many people who took time off for the holiday could say almost a week later that they feel refreshed, restored and rejuvenated in their body, mind and soul?
🔄We are so used to living on autopilot, multi-tasking day-end and day-out that truth be told, most of us don't even realize how tired we truly are or know how to relax and simply just be in the present moment.
🚨Chronic busyness and constant availability and connectivity has become the norm; however, we weren't created for this pace, and the consequences are devastating!
🙌🏻 The good news is that the Lord offers us rest through Him if only we seek and accept His help.
“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him…” Psalm 37:7

☀️Today holds the opportunity of mental and physical refreshment and positive change!
⚠️Remember…the enemy loves for us to be discouraged and to dwell on our circumstances or the past, but our God gives us a sunset and new sunrise every day through his mercy, goodness, hope and compassion!
