12/29/24 11:45AM Update: The Tornado Watch is no longer in effect for our forecast area. The severe threat has ended though areas of rain and showers continue. Please pass along any reports of damage. Thank you.

12/29/24 9AM Update: Our five Georgia counties, in addition to Edgefield, McCormick, and Saluda counties in South Carolina have been removed from the Tornado Watch as the threat for severe thunderstorms from this line has passed. Additional counties will be removed as the line continues east.

12/29/24 06:10am Update: A Tornado WATCH has been issued for our entire forecast area until 1pm this afternoon. The primary hazard remains damaging winds, but brief tornadoes are also possible as the primary line of thunderstorms moves through the region from west to east. Additional tornadoes may develop from any individual thunderstorms, should they develop.
