It went on to produce Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz, NPR’s longest-running jazz music program, for which South Carolina Public Radio received a Peabody Award. Though McPartland passed away in 2013, the series continues to be heard in archival form nationwide. Currently, South Carolina Public Radio produces national music series Song Travels with Michael Feinstein, World of Opera (with WDAV), and Chamber Music from Spoleto Festival USA (also heard internationally). South Carolina Public Radio is funded in part by listener and corporate donations to the ETV Endowment of South Carolina.
