A majority of the time you’ll find me behind the camera, but today I just wanted to pop out in front of the lens and give a genuine THANK YOU to everyone who allows me to do this thing I love. To many it may seem like just clicking a button on a really expensive toy. But to me, the little click of that button allows me to capture a world that really doesn’t seem to ever slow down. To tell stories, remember laughs and cries, and re-live beautiful moments that are too sublime to express in words. It lets a bride see her father walk her down the aisle again. It lets a groom see that his dance moves are maybe not as as good as they are in his head (lol jk…sorta). And at the deepest level, it allows me to seize the moments that make you, and myself, the most happy. And that makes my soul smile.

The Clark's really are the definition of a "Dream Team!" I can't describe how beautiful this wedding was, and how perfect Eric and Kelsey are for each other. From Busch Light with the boys, to football on TV at the reception, to the totally hyped dance moves that were thrown down on the dance floor - this wedding was one for the books! Thank you to Eric and Kelsey for letting me celebrate with you, and to capture a day you, your friends, and your family will always remember!

Sometimes when I film weddings, I capture moments that really move me. This moment brought me back to my own wedding day, remembering how I felt when I saw my beautiful bride. My best friend. In her gorgeous dress, walking down the aisle to promise the rest of her life to me. It’s hard to put into words what you feel standing at the altar during this time. You reminisce on all the good memories you’ve had together, but also inspired by the future ones that are to come. Certain that this is your person, but confused how you were the one she chose. But above all, I think all husbands can agree - in this moment - we feel like the luckiest people on the planet.

Had so much fun filming this video of "Dusty" last month! Although I didn't grow up around horses, I've always had an affinity for these beautiful creatures. And, this guy looked badass on film! Shoutout to Austee VonAhn for the awesome opportunity!

Just wanted to give you a little insight into the post production process from a filmmaker’s perspective 😄🎥 Every clip comes out of the camera flat and grey, and from there it is all creative choice on how to make every color detail and clip look as rad as possible. The point of this “flat” image is to retain as much detail in the highlights (bright parts) AND shadows (dark parts) so that the quality of the image is as high as possible and can be creatively stylized in post production.
