Traditional SEO is going the way of DOS

➡️ Google is constantly looking for new ways to improve the way they deliver search results, it’s what makes them the most accurate search engine on the Interweb. In 2022 alone they changed their algorithm 13X/Day! I would be surprised if anyone reading this changes their website content 13 times per year.

➡️ Instead of worrying about backlinks and other traditional SEO sounding stuff, focus more on your Google Business Profile and Social Media; encourage customer reviews and engage with your audience!

Do you send email blasts? You should be aware up to 80% of people utilize dark mode on their devices! Your email marketing software probably doesn’t show you what an email will look like on dark mode, that’s up to you to view in a test email. This means if you’re not careful, your email message may not show up the way you intended. Test in dark mode before blasting out!

Hosting is not created equal; you can host your non-proprietary site almost anywhere, the difference is the security of the host, backups, customer support, and a clear explanation of your needs being met – nothing more, and certainly nothing less. When you do not have the SSL search engines penalize you and warn visitors (even if you do not use ecommerce) that even visiting your site could be harmful.
