Wednesday Weekly 9am PST Fundraiser Book Sale: Grounded Novel for $10
Calling on bookstore owners, high school principals, church leaders to help spread the news that Tom Luong Films will like to raise funds by selling 100,000 novels to the young adults in the community by Christmas break 2023. The book will be 50,000 words in length and will cost about $10-$15. The url we have now for the purchase of the book or DVD is GroundedStuff.Com. This book is the first in a two part series of books where the first book is a family adventure film titled Christmas Curfew now on Prime and YouTube. But the second film will be biblical and a character in the first film will play a very prominent role in the Bible, but you will have to get the second book to find out! Movie Premise for Grounded Movie that is currently on Amazon Prime and YouTube (as aka Christmas Curfew): A young-adult brother and sister duo get grounded at Christmas after they break curfew. For the next few days, they find ways to sneak out of the house to go on night adventures around town. They later run into bank robbers hiding out in the hills, who then kidnap the older sister. In the end the younger brother and his friends, including a boy wearing a Halloween Webman suit, get help from two retired forest service volunteers, and bring the fugitives to custody.

I’m here in Little Saigon in Garden Grove, CA on June 22, 2023 with a local talent who has been acting in Hollywood films since the 1990s, actor Phong Vo. Hi this is Tom Luong director/producer of the famous kids adventure family Christmas film The Grounded, aka Christmas Curfew (2017). I’m out today with Phong Vo and he has seen our film and has some nice comments about our film. Ever since 2010, I have not personally gotten feedback on our film on camera and today I would like to share this footage with the audience.
Phong Atwood Vo in IMDB is known for Kong: Skull Island (2017), Spring Break '83 and The Creator (2023). Has 23 acting credits total in his career in Hollywood.

Grounded: Notes about what happened to Tom since the film finished in April 2011.
Well what happened to Tom Luong since April 2011? Well many things. His father passed away in 2012. Then he suffered from writer's block or in this case director's block until he could finished editing the film in 2016 then had ITN the distributor list the film on Amazon Prime. However sales were not so good and the money didn't flow inward. It was a drought and no money. In 2018 I came back to Julian Phillips to ask him to write for me another novel called Cobalt Migration and this book was completed 2 week before Julian became physically blinded from using tainted artificial tear drops. It was a sad event but to date I still keep in touch with Julian to make sure he is in good health. Then in 2023 Tom became more savvy with FaceBook and Google advertising and he started an online business so hoping we will have enough money by winter 2023 to pay off SAG-AFTRA for the actors and hopefully for the crew as well.
