Hang on a moment... Did you really trust everything you read on Facebook before Meta fired the fact-checkers? 🧐

Now, don’t get me wrong, social media is a great place for ideas and sharing, but here at Pink Sheep Co., I firmly believe you should never be a passive consumer—you should always do your own research. 👩‍🔬

You may have heard this week that Meta has announced it will no longer fact-check content on its platforms. Whether you see this as a step toward freedom or a concerning shift, it’s a reminder that critical thinking is essential.

Before starting Pink Sheep Co., I worked in the aerospace industry, and every April, I would see posts about the full Pink Moon! Photos would be shown of a beautiful pink-colored moon, leading people to believe the moon would, in fact, be pink. In reality, the full moon of April is referred to as a "pink moon" because it's the time of year when beautiful pink spring flowers start blooming. 🌸

Whether you support the end of fact-checking or are leaving Meta over the decision, I encourage you to do your homework and don’t trust everything you read on the internet.
