7 Questions: Get to Know the Interns.

1. Where are you from?
I say I'm from Colorado Springs, but I moved here 8 years ago from Arkansas City, Kansas. Before then I lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but I was born in St. Louis, Missouri.
2. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
If I were to travel anywhere, I would visit New Zealand. I've always wondered what it would be like to see their nature firsthand. After watching The Lord of the Rings a million times as a child.
3. What age do you wish you could permanently be? And why?
If I could stay one age forever, it would probably be somewhere in my late 20's. So, I'm as close to youth as possible while still having made the benchmark for complete brain development, as well as being within the age range of legal adults. After that, I'd hope experiences would still age my mind, but my body would be immune to the aging effects of time.
4. Biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when I'll be going to retrieve something, and a passed doorway wipes my short-term memory of any clue as to what I was going to accomplish.
5. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies take a few forms of art. I write and perform music, as well as poetry. Once in a while, I'll paint, though I'm awful at it. And I play some video games that I consider artful.
6. Favorite place to hang out? My favorite place to hang out is probably my studio space in the old flux, on Chelton. There are a lot of cool places in that area though. I also try to see what's happening at Vultures, What's Left, and the Black Sheep. The big three on Venue Street (E Platte)
7. What are some small things that make your day better?
Some small things that make my day could be two massive mugs of coffee and a solid jam/writing sesh in the morning. Maybe getting to take my lunch break during sunset or otherwise having time appreciating the beauty of this city.
