🎄 🐶 It would be wonderful if Bette was adopted for the Holidays!
One of our Halle families has Bette up for adoption and is available through Team Memphis Rescue and Support. Her bio is included on their website and page.
Bette is approximately 4 years old and is housetrained and crate-trained. She is spayed and UTD on shots. She’s weighs about 40 lbs, so a good medium-sized dog.
She is super sweet and friendly and gets along great with the other dogs, but sometimes can annoy them due to her being an attention hog. She displays some herding instincts and it seems that she must believe it is her duty to follow you around everywhere and make sure you are safe and accounted for. She loves to cuddle beside her people on the couch and would be very happy in a home that provided lots of love and attention. She is a very quiet dog. Your neighbors will appreciate that! She may bark a tiny bit at the Amazon driver but definitely one of the more quiet dogs I’ve had the pleasure of fostering. Bette is food-motivated and has learned to sit and wait for her food.
On walks, she’s pretty good, but instead of being a puller, you’re more likely to have to pull her because she loves to stop and sniff all the smells.
I would say that she is a medium energy. She mostly wants to hang out with her people but she can be enticed into a game of chase the ball, but don’t bring it back!
She sleeps quietly at night in an open crate. We think she is a wonderful dog and would make a great addition to any home.

What a great day for a show at The Harrell Theater! Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer was fantastic! A lil’ birdie even told me we have some Kiddos from Halle in the play!

Meet Trevor from Master Lawn Spraying company. He is in the neighborhood today protecting the flower bed plants from dying over the winter.
