Hey everyone!
I decided I want to put 100% into pursing my talent and felt I should take a moment to introduce myself since I haven't yet!

My name is Dominique; owner/photographer of Dominique Kathleen photography also known as DK Photography!
I started this in 2018 and I am completely self taught.
I've always had an artistic side(drawing & crafty) and I love taking photos so one day I decided that photography would be the best of both worlds!
I have photographed 5 weddings so far along with engagement, equine, pet, senior, family and individual shoots.

I live in Amsterdam, NY but I am originally from Rochester, NY. I am willing to travel anywhere for photos and just don't serve one specific area. I'm big on family and I'm always traveling back home.

I have an Agricultural/Equine business degree from Morrisville State College and I have been riding horses since I was a little girl so equine photos have been one of my specialties! I also own a little buckskin quarter horse named Pistol. One could say I LOVE horses! haha!

Besides owning a horse I also own two Blue Heelers(Diesel & Koda), a cat(Oreo), a bird(Casper) and my own home.
I also love to line dance and the outdoors.
I do work a full-time job supporting the Navy and also work part time at Tractor Supply.

PHEW talk about a full schedule LOL!

but that's how you as a client know you are getting a quality person as your photographer.
I work hard, ALOT and give my all. I also try to be a perfectionist; I don't half-ass my way through anything.

With the new year coming up my goal is to grow my business and myself as a photographer so you will be seeing more activity on my page!

Had the honor to not only stand by 2 of my best friends as they got married this weekend, but also got to rock the absolute hell out of their wedding as their DJ. As soon as dinner was over and the lights hit, the floor was packed until we had to leave. What an amazing wedding for 2 amazing people. Love you both!
