Please do not dump unwanted pets into places that are not their natural habitat. It's not safe for them or the ecosystem.

An alligator has reportedly been located in the Spokane River near Kiwanis Park in Post Falls.

The sighting has been reported to 911, and the gator does not appear to be alive at this time. If it is real, it was likely a dumped pet.

Anyone with information related to how the alligator may have ended up in the river is asked to contact local law enforcement.

Through a generous donation from STCU, the Dean of Students Office and ASNIC are pleased to announce a DRIVE-THROUGH FOOD PANTRY Event this Thursday, November 13, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the DeArmond Building parking lot (near Cardinal Central). Each box will have food for 2 people for 5 days. Anyone in need is encouraged to come.

🎓 A huge thank-you to Kailey Kemp from North Idaho College!

Kailey visited our 12th Grade Connections class this morning and helped students complete their Apply Idaho applications in their Next Steps Idaho accounts. 💻✨

She encouraged our seniors to dream a little about possible career paths, answer all the Apply Idaho questions carefully, and select at least two colleges that offer their chosen majors or specialties. 🌟

This process can feel unfamiliar and overwhelming, but Kailey made it simple, encouraging, and achievable for everyone. 💙

Completing the Apply Idaho application is also an important step in becoming eligible for Idaho LAUNCH funds — which can provide up to $8,000 for college or career training programs in high-demand fields. 💼💡

Thanks to Kailey’s time and support, our seniors are one step closer to turning their goals into reality! 🙌
