If you’re in Cody, you’ve got to check out Old Trail Town!
This place is a living history museum spread across 6 acres, with 28 original buildings, over 100 wagons, and so many Western artifacts. It’s like stepping back in time, right where downtown Cody used to be. I can easily spend hours here exploring every corner, imagining what life was like in the Wild West.

If you’re heading to Grand Teton National Park or Jackson, Wyoming, the National Museum of Wildlife Art is a must-visit! 🎨 With over 550 artists, stunning outdoor sculptures, and breathtaking views of the Elk Refuge, it’s an experience you won’t forget.

The museum is a comfortable size—about a quarter of the Buffalo Bill Center in Cody—and you can explore the exhibits in around 2 hours. But if you have more time, start with a stroll around the outdoor sculptures, enjoy lunch at Palate, and take in those amazing views!

I often recommend this museum in my Jackson Hole itineraries, and trust me, it’s well worth the stop! More details on Palate coming soon because their food deserves its own post. 😋
