Took the kids to the playground at the Cocoa Beach pool pavilion yesterday morning. Of course I had to grab a few shots of the dock and water!

A quick montage ending with a time-lapse of tonight’s sunset.

Video shot with DJI RS2, a GH5 with an Olympus 2.8 12-40mm lens. Shot in 4k at 60 FPS. I didn’t slow down any shots in the edit or color grade. Just an auto color correction of each clip was applied.

The last hour until sundown provided some really great lighting and it was fun to almost dip the RS2 in the water to try and get those low water shots.

Banana River Park is always pretty mellow and a good spot to try out your photography or videography.

A bts shot and a screen-grab from my shoot yesterday. I was capturing some pickup shots with John discussing some tunes on his new album, Islandology. The album is up for eight awards at this year’s TRMA event held in Key West next month.

Breakdown:
I kept the set-up pretty light. I used a kit lens on the GH5 to allow me to easily change up the framing for different takes. The key was using an ND filter so I could keep the beach somewhat in control (not too blown out) before it’s color corrected for the video. I recorded audio with a lav directly into the camera and used a bounce card to get a little more light on John’s face/shirt. Overall, I’m happy with the look for using what gear I could carry in two hands.

My son and I were greeted by some ducks today at the park. They probably thought we had food because they approached us several times during our short trip. Thankfully, I didn’t leave home without my camera and was able to grab a few shots. Brought the Canon with 85 mm lens again.

My good friend Eric approached me about putting together a video for his website and I was stoked 🤙

Eric is a hard-worker and has a great eye for detail. In addition, he’s one hell of a drummer 🥁

For this video, I was lucky to record an install, and grab a few lifestyle shots to make the video personable.

Video was shot by myself with two GH5’s with one on a tripod and one using a Robin-M stabilizer.

We were very lucky with the great weather over Thanksgiving weekend. I’m looking forward for the temps to drop and the hot chocolate to heat up.

Gearing up for a couple of shoots this weekend. I wanted to make sure the steadycam was faxed out and ready to go. I went over to one of my favorite sunset spots to put in a little practice. Here's what I came up with after 20 minutes of shooting and a quick edit back home while my fiance made dinner.

A little raw clip edit from their gig last Sunday afternoon. I took an audio feed from the board, which was made known to me at the time, there were no drums in the mix. Video was shot in 60 fps and slowed down to 70% for this edit.

Continuing work on Highway One's newest marketing video. These are clips from the 3rd show I have shot this past month.

I used my Canon 85 mm lens with speedboost on my GH5 which allowed me to capture some nice shots in the low light.

Shot in 60 FPS even though I didn't slow anything down for this promo I put together after the show.

I made it down to the beach at 7:23 pm, set the tripod up, turned the camera to bulb setting and locked the shutter at liftoff. Just in time and I'm pretty happy with the result!
