Demolition of the Coal City McDonalds is taking place today. JK Trotter Enterprises, of Coal City, is in charge of the demolition. The building will be down today and the remainder of the site will be excavated in the coming days. A new state-of-the-art restaurant is slated to reopen in that location sometime in June.
