WATER WARS 2024💦🐥
Before competitions, the kids learned about the living water that Jesus offered in John chapter 4. The rest of the afternoon consisted of cheering, teamwork, and lots of water! Congratulations to the blue team on their victory!

Hey church! We’re excited for prayer tonight, church tomorrow at 10 am, and Water Wars following the service!
A couple reminders for Water Wars tomorrow:
-Kids will need to be checked out from kids church and checked back in after we finish checkout and reset the classroom.
-Kids are encouraged to wear play clothes (athletic shorts + a T-shirt).
-Registration is officially closed, however walk-ins are welcome on a first come first serve basis while team supplies last.

During VBS, we had 40 adult volunteers and 16 youth volunteers minister to a total of 116 kids throughout the week. On Thursday, we had 30 kids receive Jesus into their heart for the first time!
We can’t wait to share more about it tomorrow @ 10 am! Kids are invited to join us for one last day of SCUBA fun following worship in the main sanctuary! Can’t wait to see you then.
Don’t forget, no prayer this evening!

SCUBA DAY 4 🦈
Yesterday’s Bible Point was that God is a friend forever. Our Bible Passage came from John 18-20 where the kids learned about Jesus dying for our sins and coming back to life 3 days later!
In Bible Adventures, they were given the opportunity to make a decision for Jesus and there were 30 kids who received Jesus into their heart for the first time! God is so awesome!
The night ended with some celebratory singing and dancing and a volunteer tunnel to say goodbye to the kids.
We have one more day of SCUBA VBS this SUNDAY @ 10 AM! See you then for our Day 5 Finale!

SCUBA DAY 3 🦭
Yesterday, kids learned that God is a friend we can trust!!
Our Bible passage came from Mark 4 where Jesus calmed the storm. Kids learned that we can have peace when the storms of life come our way, because our trust is in Jesus!
“I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart.” -John 14:27
The night ended with an epic dance battle between our shark friends who happen to be a bit competitive!😅🦈

Tonight during closing, kids witnessed an intense dance off between the shark contestants. Congratulations to Finny for winning the contest and taking home the grand prize tuna!

SCUBA DAY 2🐬
Last night, kids learned that God is a friend who LOVES! It is His loving kindness that draws us to repentance and into friendship with Him.
Our Bible story came from Jonah 1-3 where we learned that God showed compassion to the people of Niniveh.
During Bible Adventures, kids actually endured a big storm and got swallowed by a big fish! 🐋😦 The good news is, they were spit back out and got to enjoy the rest of their stations.
Looking forward to another day of underwater fun at 6:00 pm!

So much fun on SCUBA DAY ONE! Last night we learned that God is a friend who is REAL. Even though we can’t see God, we can see the evidence of Him working all around us. The kids learned about how God showed himself to Elijah throughout the ups and downs in his life in 1 Kings 18-19.
Our underwater adventure will resume tonight at 6. It’s not too late to join in the fun!
