It was nice trying out different options for this prompt. I spent the morning wrapping presents at my in-laws. They were just going to give us money until I offered to wrap. Wrapping presents is my super power. I adore it.

Introducing the Bedazzled Collection. A vibrant set of mirror chrome mica watercolors. You may recognize 3 of them as they are the same pigment as the Glamorous Collection but without the glitter.

They are named after gem stones with the exception of Rose Gold ( which btw is my absolute favorite in this set)

This is my twelfth grouping for my ink study using a Tomoe River Notebook, Ring Swatch created with Canson XL watercolor paper and a Ferris Wheel Press Swatch Book. All three inks are by Ferris Wheel Press

First is Crystal Blue Legacy is a classic navy with beautiful blue shimmer which shades nicely on the Tomoe River paper. The shimmer is most prevalent on the FWP paper but is still present on the watercolor paper.

Second is Sugar and Spite is a deep magenta with a duochrome pink shimmer which shades minimally on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. The most prevalent shimmer is on the watercolor paper and moderate on the FWP paper.

Third is Plated Gold Tress glorious gold with duochrome gold shimmer. which shades beautifully on the Tomoe River paper. The shimmer shows best on the FWP paper but is present on the Watercolor paper and Tomoe River paper.

I adore every one of these pens. They are all exceptionally smooth writers.

The Regatta was my Grail pen from 2023 and the first big pen purchase of 2023.

The Super Mega was one of my favorite purchases this year I literally got it for a steal from the Monteverde Amazon store. It is so heavy and mesmerizing.

Introducing the Fairie Garden Collection

Fairie Garden Collection is a set of 4 subtle shifting shimmer watercolors.

Fairie Wings is a blend of an interference green mica and an olive/gold/yellow colorshift mica.

Radiant Realm is a blend of a large particle red interference mica and a an olive/gold/yellow colorshift mica. The large particle mica looks more magenta in this blend than a true red.

Spanish Moss is a blend of a blue/green/yellow color shift mica, interference green mica and a blue/gold color shift mica.

Sunflower Sanctuary is a blend of a bronze/yellow/green/gold color shift mica and a large particle interference gold mica.

Available in sets and individual half pans.

This is my eleventh grouping for my ink study using a Tomoe River Notebook, Ring Swatch created with Canson XL watercolor paper and a Ferris Wheel Press Swatch Book. All three inks are by Ferris Wheel Press

First is Brilliant Beanstalk is a lovely light green with a champagne shimmer which shades nicely on the Tomoe River paper. The shimmer is most prevalent on the FWP paper but is still present on the watercolor paper.

Second is Cabernet on the Lake one of my favorites which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. It is a gorgeous red ink with a rose gold shimmer. The most prevalent shimmer is on the FWP paper and moderate on the watercolor paper.

Third is Hearty Harvest an Amber Butterscotch with rose gold shimmer. which shades beautifully on the Tomoe River paper. It shades best on the watercolor and FWP papers. The shimmer shows best on the watercolor paper and FWP paper but is present on the Tomoe River paper.

This is my tenth grouping for my ink study using a Tomoe River Notebook, Ring Swatch created with Canson XL watercolor paper and a Ferris Wheel Press Swatch Book. All three inks are by Ferris Wheel Press

First is A Stroke of Midnight is a deep navy with a gold and silver shimmer which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. The red sheen shows best on the watercolor paper and a tiny bit on the Tomoe River paper. The shimmer is most prevalent on the FWP paper but is still present on the watercolor paper.

Second is Green with Curiosity one of my favorites which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. It is a lovely green ink with a red sheen and blue shimmer. The red sheen is best on the Tomoe River paper and a tiny bit in the watercolor paper. But no sheen in the FWP paper. The most prevalent shimmer is on the FWP paper and moderate on the watercolor paper.

Third is Ruby Royal flush a bright red with gold sheen and gold shimmer. which shades beautifully on the Tomoe River paper. It shades best on the watercolor and FWP papers. Thr gold sheen is most prevalent on the Watercolor paper, followed by the Tomoe River but is ever so slightly shown on the FWP paper. The shimmer shows best on the watercolor paper and FWP paper but is present on the Tomoe River paper.

This is the second beautiful ink Coming this Friday 8/2/24 is this lovely new ink Galeforce Green by is a deep green that you me leans slightly to the teal side with a lovely green/pink shimmer. It is absolutely divine. One can never have enough green inks.

Another view of the Coral Reef collection.

Blue Seafan Coral is a super sparkly blue mica that has a subtle green color shift with and color shift blue/green chunky glitter mix.

Lobophyllia is a lavender that shifts to teal mica with color shift chunky glitter mix.

Pink Nephthea is a lovely pink mica with a subtle purple and gold color shift as well as color shift chunky glitter mix.

Pulsing Xenia is a pale lavender with an eggplant shift and color shift chunky glitter mix.

Collection available in sets as well as individual half pans.

Which color is your favorite?? Mine is Lobophyllia. Although blue sea fan coral is a close second and that glitter shift in Pink Nepthea is stunning as well. Good thing I don’t have to choose just one.

This is my ninth grouping for my ink study using a Tomoe River Notebook, Ring Swatch created with Canson XL watercolor paper and a Ferris Wheel Press Swatch Book. All three inks are by Ferris Wheel Press

First is Son of Scarlet is a rich burgundy with a yellow sheen and blue shimmer which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. The sheen show beautifully as well on those two papers. Interestingly enough very little red shows on the watercolor paper. The shimmer is most prevalent on the FWP paper but is still present on the watercolor paper.

Second is Poison Envy one of my favorites which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. It is a very dark purple ink with a yellow sheen and green pink shimmer. This photo doesn’t show it best but the green sheen is very prevalent on the all three papers. I must have been at the wrong angle when taking this photo. You can see it’s beauty in the reel I posted on July 28, 2023

Third is Wondrous Winterberry which shades beautifully on the Tomoe River paper. It shades moderately on the watercolor and FWP papers. The shimmer shows best on the watercolor paper and FWP paper but is present on the Tomoe River paper.

This is my eighth grouping for my ink study using a Tomoe River Notebook, Ring Swatch created with Canson XL watercolor paper and a Ferris Wheel Press Swatch Book. All three inks are by Ferris Wheel Press

First is Malibu Blush is a lovely bright pink which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. This is a non shimmer ink.

Second is Tanzanite Sky which shades nicely on the Tomoe River and Watercolor papers. It is a very dark indigo blue with purple undertone. This also is a non shimmer ink.

Third is Hampton Harbor Sage which shades beautifully on the Tomoe River paper. It shades moderately on the watercolor and FWP papers. The shimmer shows best on the watercolor paper and FWP paper however there was some feathering in the writing sample on the watercolor paper that was not present on the other two papers.
