My white cane means a lot to me personally and in my hometown, Clinton. To some, a white cane is just a symbol of visual impairment; but, for me, it is much more. My cane makes it safe for me to travel, gives me more independence, and helps with self-advocacy and communication skills.

Junior Ambassadors Show Choir made their debut during the Clinton Ambassadors Show Choir Fall R***e on November 6th with two more performances on November 8th and 9th. The Junior Ambassadors program consists of current 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who love to sing and dance. Students attend a mini camp and rehearsals led by Ambassadors Show Choir singer/dancers and directors. The Junior Ambassadors program took a small break in 2019 and returned in 2022. Students work hard to learn songs and dances and perform each night at the Ambassadors Show Choir Fall R***e. All the students this year did an amazing job on stage!!! Check them out!!

The Clinton Brick Street Players and the Mississippi College Department of Education will present Brian Guehring's Sherlock Holmes and the First Baker Street Irregular, November 21-23 at 7:00 p.m. and November 24 at 2:30 p.m. Performances will take place at the Entergy Theatre at the Gore Arts Complex at MC. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors/military/students and can be purchased at the door or at cbsp.booktix.com. This show is produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.

While Clinton officials are busy making improvements to the City parks, vandals seem intent on tearing them up. Recently, a new foot bridge at Kids Towne Park was deliberately damaged. Those responsible ripped some of the railings off the bridge, which was among recent upgrades designed to make the park more accessible and enjoyable.
