The Miss Midway High School Scholarship pageant will be held March 1 in the school auditorium at 7 p.m.
The theme of this year’s pageant is “We Love Midway.” Avery Strickland, Miss Midway 2024, will crown one of these young ladies as the 58th Miss Midway High School.

Important Weather Update for Sampson County Government Offices
Due to inclement weather, please note the following schedule changes:
📌Wednesday, February 19: County Offices will open as usual, with an early release at noon. This may be adjusted based on the developing conditions.
📌Thursday, February 20: County Offices will be closed.
📌Friday, February 21: Offices will open at their regular time. Please be advised that departments typically closed on Fridays will be open, as they will be closed on Thursday.
Sampson County will will continue monitoring the condition, any changes to these times will be shared as soon as possible in response to ongoing weather conditions.

The Wildcats emerged victorious on their senior night, taking the 70-25 win in their first meeting of the season.
