Jessica Vartoughian, founder and former president of Jessica Cosmetics, has died. She was surrounded by her beloved daughter, son and family. Jessica leaves behind an extraordinary legacy. A true pioneer and visionary, she built an empire through her relentless hard work, passion and unwavering dedication. She was a pivotal force in shaping the nail industry and empowering countless professionals around the world.

Jessica was not only an innovator and icon in the world of nails, but a true trailblazer whose passion, creativity and vision shaped an entire industry. She always put her best foot forward to bring the latest trends and innovations to life, and her influence has touched countless lives around the world.

Beyond her business success, Jessica was a powerhouse who traveled the globe, yet always kept her family and community close to her heart. Those who knew her, knew the incredible woman she was — full of strength, grace, force, and determination. Jessica’s kindness, brilliance, and trailblazing spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her impact will continue to live on through every life she inspired and every dream she helped build.

Tell your lawmakers NO on HF 711.
House Bill 711 threatens to add unnecessary, confusing layers to Iowa’s beauty and barbering licensing system. Iowa already has a well-established apprenticeship program—why create redundant regulations that only complicate the process?

💇‍♀️ Our industry is thriving! We don’t need more red tape, more hoops to jump through, or unnecessary changes that create confusion. The current system works—let’s keep it that way!
