Support California AB 504
📢 Attention Beauty Professionals! Your Industry Needs You! ✂️💅

The future of independent beauty professionals is at stake! AB 504 is a crucial bill that will ensure licensed manicurists receive the same independent contractor rights as other beauty professionals. Right now, manicurists are unfairly excluded from the permanent exemptions that licensed estheticians, electrologists, manicurists, barbers, and cosmetologists already have.

📣 We need YOUR voice to fix this!

🚨 What’s at risk?
🔹 The ability for manicurists to work as independent contractors
🔹 The salon owner’s choice to hire employees or rent space to independent contractors.
🔹 The right to fair treatment under California law

💡 How You Can Help:
1️⃣ Contact your California Assemblymember TODAY and ask them to VOTE YES on AB 504!

2️⃣ Share your story – Let them know why independent work matters to you.
3️⃣ Spread the word – Share this message with fellow beauty pros and salon owners.

The beauty industry thrives on flexibility, independence, and entrepreneurship. Let’s stand together and make sure our industry is treated fairly! 💪

*Please note only California residents can take action on this campaign. We encourage you to personalize your message by clicking the pen icon at the bottom left.

From the Professional Beauty Association

🚨 IOWA LICENSED BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS: YOUR ACTION NEEDED AGAIN! 🚨
Tell your lawmakers NO on HF 711.
House Bill 711 threatens to add unnecessary, confusing layers to Iowa’s beauty and barbering licensing system. Iowa already has a well-established apprenticeship program—why create redundant regulations that only complicate the process?

💇‍♀️ Our industry is thriving! We don’t need more red tape, more hoops to jump through, or unnecessary changes that create confusion. The current system works—let’s keep it that way!

📢 Make your voice heard! Tell your state representative to VOTE NO on House Bill 711 and protect Iowa’s beauty industry from unnecessary regulations. We don’t need duplicate requirements, -we need clarity, stability, and the freedom to grow.

❌ Stop the confusion. Stop the overreach. Take action now!

Take action, use your voice to stop this bill and stand up for our professional industry. Go here: https://probeauty.quorum.us/campaign/112599/
