Jim Szabo is the host. Jim started on WRUW in 1973 as an undergraduate of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland, where WRUW resides. Down by the Cuyahoga focusses on new jazz releases, especially those of Northeast Ohio musicians. He mixes in theme shows and interviews. Down by the Cuyahoga may be the nation’s longest continuously-running jazz show, starting in 1974. You can listen to Down by the Cuyahoga Fridays at 11PM EST/EDT on 91.1 FM in Northeast Ohio or Northwest Pennsylvania, or WRUW's live stream at http://wruw-stream.wruw.org/stream.html .
