Laugh Til You Cry month rages on, and we're halfway through our lineup!

It's the girls' combined pick this week, and they chose Superbad from 2007! It's the quintessential comedy film for millennials, and both of the girls have fond memories of this one. This movie captures what high school life was like back in the early 2000's to a T, and wonderfully executes just how hormone fueled we all were.

The ladies are back for Anna's pick, Wedding Crashers from 2005! A glorious mix-up of romance, comedy, and bromance, this film is still a blast to watch today! (although, many other women would disagree) The cast is stacked, including a baby-faced Bradley Cooper. We inadvertently picked two movies starring him this month, and it's easy to forget how he started out being the comedic actor! Every single actor in this cast is hilarious, and you can't beat the chemistry that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson have.

The August lineup kicks off today over at Give Me Back My Action and Horror Movies, and it's Anna's pick to start them off!

"Charlie informed me I got a pick, and I was ecstatic. The first 2 films in the month of August are considered a truncated Neon Month. My mission, which I chose to accept, was to pick a neon themed horror movie. My brain started turning! Most of the films covered on their channel are 90s and older, with only a few newer films slipping through the cracks. I jotted a few down and brainstormed in the group chat. My mind kept going back to Brandon Cronenberg's Possessor. I mentioned it to the guys, and Nate had actually seen it! His 'non-counting vote' went to Possessor, and they gave me their blessing to pick a recent film.

I, of course, had to bring my Gore Gal along for the ride! The conversation that came out of this episode was a real treat, and one of those you sit back afterward and say, 'Ahh, this is why I love movies. This is why we podcast.' Anything with the name Cronenberg attached to it is bound to be a ride, so I highly suggest watching this film first before listening! Then, watch it again. And maybe one more time after that. It's a gem of a film that will give you new nuggets of information and easter eggs every time you watch it."

We based these on nostalgia (per usual) and have some great stories to go along with these movies! August is gonna be a wild ride, so get ready to Laugh 'Til You Cry!

The ladies are back for their Boys season 4, episode 5 review! Can these episodes get any wilder? If we know the Boys, then yes, they can. This episode had it all: shocking moments, heartwarming scenes, and some great character development across the board. All of these details are what make this show so great.
