Passing down traditions! Family Vacation.

The 30,000 Islands, Georgian Bay region in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 has been ingrained in our family for many generations. It was a treat to be able to take my kids to the same pristine locations my parents took me as a kid.

This region will test nautical navigation skills, but the rewards are some of the most beautiful fresh water boating in the 🌎

If you haven’t visited this area roughly 2.5 hours from Toronto. I highly recommend you add it to your Bucket list!

They offer float plane rides, scenic cruises, or many options for boat rentals out of Parry Sound, ON area.

Just Voted Americas Best aquarium for the sixth time❗️

Johnny Morris’ National Museum & Aquarium.

This is a must-see family destination. The displays and tanks are unbelievable! While you’re in town also stop by the Original and Largest . Nearly 500,000 sf dedicated to the beauty of the outdoors!

📍Letchworth State Park

It’s waterfall Wednesday and Letchworth State Park is a must do! It’s called the Grand Canyon of the east and lives up to its name. There are three amazing waterfalls and miles of beautiful walking and even a restaurant to relax and unwind from an eventful day of hiking and sightseeing!

✨Trail Highlight✨ Worden's Ledges loop trail. 📍Hinckley Reservation.

The best part of this ledge hike is definitely the scavenger hunt for the many stone carvings! Don't blink you'll miss them if you're not paying close attention. You can see all the goodies in under a mile hike which is fairly easy.

Clevelands new fire boat Marine 21 with the Historical Jack Knife Bridge. This has to be one of the coolest jobs in Cleveland! We have upmost respect for the men and women of the fire service.

We choose to 🔽

🧺 picnic in the old growth cottonwood trees.
🏊 cool off in Lake Erie.
🪨 look for beach glass and cool rocks on the shoreline.
🏰 build our own sand fort!

"Switzerland of America"

Did you know this small town of Ouray Colorado is known as Switzerland of America for its natural beauty and skiing ⛷️.

These are some flashback pictures of hiking around town. The perimeter trail is roughly a 6 mile loop with 1,600' of elevation gain providing gorgeous views high above the town. This trail is packed with waterfalls and bridges. Good footwear is highly recommended, something with some grip. Don't wear old tennis shoes like I did 🤣.

🍽️ Twin Oast Brewing has the atmosphere we've been waiting for! Enjoy local food and craft drinks while tossing a frisbee in the lawn & listening to live music.

🌊 Enjoy a sunset while listening to the Lake Erie waves lap on the rocky shoreline at Marblehead Lighthouse State Park.
