Once upon a time there was an Angel named Arch-El. (Name meaning: Archangel of God) He was a chief Archangel presiding over the Guardian Angels of Heaven. For centuries he carried out his duties in heaven, offering guidance to the Guardian Angels, as well as watching over humanity from afar. As time went on Arch-El began to feel a growing sense of restlessness. He longed to be more directly involved in helping people, and to see the impact of his work first-hand. After much contemplation, he approached the Divine Council and made a bold request, to incarnate inside the Metaverse of Chill, and serve as a Guardian to all of those in need. At first the council was hesitant. Incarnating was a risky endeavor, and there was no guarantee Arch-El would be able to resist the cares and distractions of mortal life. But Arch-El was resolute in his desire to help bring Chill to the world. After much deliberation the council granted him permission to take on a mortal Guardian form. And so, Arch-El descended to Guardian Monastery atop Mount Chilluvious inside the Metaverse of Chill. There he began to teach and spread Chill to all that would listen. From the four corners of the earth people began making their pilgrimage to the Metaverse of Chill. All those in need of Chill made the arduous hike atop Mount Chilluvious to the Guardian Monastery. There Arch-El and the other white beards taught the way of the Chill, comforting all that were grieving. He became known as a beacon of hope, and a guiding light for countless people searching for Chill in their darkest hours.
