Taken from a recording made by Peter Laughner (so he could learn the band's songs for his audition) comes TELEVISION at the Piccadilly Inn in Cleveland Ohio in July 1975. The date is in dispute - the CDR I got was marked July 26th and the second show. The advertisement for the gig from a hard copy of the SCENE magazine that I own reads July 24th and 25th. The video is from their show in Pittsburgh September 25th 2015 that I recorded and have posted on the channel.

Their first gig outside New York City and Television come roaring into Cleveland with something to prove. It's pretty obvious that no-one seems to know who they are - you get so used to hearing the opening notes of "Marquee Moon" drowned in a roar of approval that to hear it greeted by silence is very odd.

OROBOROS performs IT WON'T BE LONG and then are joined onstage by the POET LAUREATE OF CLEVELAND, Daniel Thompson, while he performs a spoken word piece at the annual ROCK + REGGAE FESTIVAL held at the Meadowridge Farm in Huntsburg Ohio on July 20th 1997. Oroboros, along with reggae band FIRST LIGHT were hosts of the annual event which was a benefit for the Cleveland Free Clinic.
