Due to weather conditions, here are changes made to Friday's basketball games:

Cleburne @ Everman - Moved to Sat. with girls tipoff at 12 p.m.

Alvarado @ Ferris - Moved to Sat. with girls tipoff at 1 p.m.

Scurry-Rosser @ Grandview - Moved to Sat. with girls tipoff at 11 a.m.

Centennial @ Joshua - Moved to Sat. with girls tipoff at 12 p.m.

RIo Vista @ Meridian - Decision to be made by Friday morning. (Potentially a 4 p.m. Friday start)

Seguin @ Burleson - Moved to Sat. with girls tipoff at 1:30 p.m.

Due to today's inclement weather, conditions worsening overnight and the potential for unsafe roads, Joshua ISD will be closed on Friday, January 10.

If there are additional updates or information, Joshua ISD will communicate via the following channels:

Keene ISD will be closed again Friday Jan 10th.

The weather forecast is still so iffy that the risk of putting people on the road in the morning is not worth the gamble.

City of Cleburne facilities and offices will be 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧. 𝟗 due to the predicted inclement weather and dangerous road conditions.

🗑 Trash pickup routes are 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐧 on Thursday, Jan. 9. However, there may be delays, so the Sanitation Division is asking all residents to put bins on the curb as usual until the trash is picked up. Trucks will run as many routes as road conditions allow to get back on schedule.

🛣 Public Works crews will continue to be on standby to treat public roadways and maintain city services.

🚨 Police and Fire crews will remain on schedule for emergencies. If you know someone who may need assistance or a wellness check, please contact police dispatch at 817-645-0972.

🧡 The lobby of the Cleburne Police Department, located at 302 W. Henderson St., will serve as a warming center for those who need temporary relief from the cold weather. The lobby will offer a warm and dry environment with access to restrooms. You can find more temporary shelter and other social services at www.findhelp.org.

***PARK ALERT*** Due to the threat of inclement weather the park headquarters will be closed tomorrow (Thursday 01/09/25)

Day Use- Please use the Self Pay Station located at the Park Headquarters or you can make a Day Use Reservation Online at https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com

Overnight Campers with a reservation- can go to their assigned campsite and check in Friday morning at the Park Headquarters.
