I’m an Apple Fan Boy Futurist

I am bringing a new perspective, and voice to the world of Apple products, and services.

After decades of using Windows, BlackBerry, Android, and other inadequate technology ...

I slowly, but surely, drank the kool-aid, and became an Apple Fan Boy. It started when I traded my IBM thinkPad for a MacBook Air, Then i received an iPad as a Christmas gift. Later when an LG V20 disappointed me, I traded up to iPhone 7. After unsuccessfully trying to create artwork on the smaller iPad, I invested in the 2019 12.9” iPad Pro, and Apple Pencil.

Two years ago my beloved MacBook Air wasn’t keeping pace, I bought a 13” MacBook Pro. About this same time I got the Apple TV 4K, in a direct TV promotion. Then shortly after, upgraded to the new year model 13” MacBook Pro. Last Christmas I traded that in for a 2019 16” MacBook Pro, with i9, and 1TB SSD. On my 60th birthday, I received a pair of AirPods, and very recently received AirPods as a thank you gift from a marketing client.

I love how the devices work seamlessly with each others, Messages, AirDrop, Contacts, and Content, all available, on all devices. This is the holy grail I’ve been looking for my whole life.

This is my story, join me on my journey as I discover new Apple innovations, patents and products and share my insights, and opinions. I’m learning more every day, as I research the articles, reading analysis, watching videos, interacting with users, and trying out new things.

Future plans for Applefanboi is to start a Podcast, I’m looking for a co-host that knows their stuff, it will all be virtual - my co-host can live anywhere in the world - it doesn’t matter.

I also want to build a YouTube channel, create a news feed on the website, and continue to build the Applefanboi brand. But, it all starts with you, my fellow Apple Fan Boys & Girls.

You each have something to add to the conversation. Everyone’s opinion is valid, and important. It’s only through inclusion, diversity, and acceptance - that innovation grows.
