Tampa Bay Screams Horror Con was one of the lucky ones to have seen “The First Turn-On” in a hardtop in 1983 (along with “Stuck On You”). Crossroads Theaters (long-gone) in St. Petersburg, FL. Some trivia: I used to work at Crossroads! For years I mistakenly referred to this film as “My First Turn-On” (a title I like better). I laughed so hard during this movie I fell out of my theater seat (true story). Lloyd Kaufman gave me autographed DVD’s of The First Turn-On and Stuck On You at a convention after we worked on H.G. Lewis’s “The Uh-Oh! Show”. - AndyL.
