Think Machine will be playing at The Secret Tunnel in support of Graver’s Lane EP Release show, alongside Grandeur and King Rat. Doors at 6, Music at 7, $10-15. This is an 18+ show.
Finally, on Sunday in Providence(!!!), 4 of these bands - Bocheck, Bedside Manor, Graver’s Lane, and King Rat - will all be playing together at Lost Bag, 7:30, $15 PWYC.

Lip Service by QuickChange! is out today! You can pick up a CD or digital copy on our website and Bandcamp now! The band has opted for a limited streaming release, so if you'd like to listen to the whole thing, get over to Bandcamp and give it a listen.

The new album from Think Machine, “Waiting For The End Of The World” is the blistering second album from a band that's been promising its arrival for several years, as anyone who's been to a show in the last 3 years can attest. The band has gone through multiple demos, line-up additions and departures, and plenty of tinkering with song structures in their efforts to make this album.
With twelve tracks over 44 minutes, the band spins out ferocious tracks that weren't seen on other releases from the band before. While songs like "Invasion of Astro Monster" and "Nostalgia" have some elements from the band's first album "This Machine Makes Noise," they contain a volume and fervor not present before. The band also shows its polished skill in arrangements on tracks like "Malarkey," and on the closer "Brandywine."
The release show at The Queen, with support from APALS and Hive Mind is on December 14th. The album itself releases on December 15th, 2023 on CD & Cassette. Pre-orders are available now on impetusde.com and on our Bandcamp.

On November 24, Impetus will be assisting QuickChange with their debut release “Lip Service,” a six-song EP recorded in August with Joni Elfers & Diego Romero-Aros at Curry Lands. We’re very happy to be welcoming them into the broader label umbrella!
This record will also be our first release since we celebrated our six-year anniversary. Thanks as always to those who have made it possible for us to keep releasing the music created from our friends and family. You are all much appreciated.

On June 23, Lemmeno’s debut album will be released with Impetus. Lemmeno is a trio of alumni from previous Impetus bands, featuring Shane Spencer (ex-Merger), RD Yoder (ex-Merger, Kobika), and Joni Elfers, who has recorded much of the output from Impetus.
The album careens between slow, haunting melodies and sharp angular riffs that threaten to unravel the winding songs crafted by the band. Known for their intense and sparse performances that verge on near-breakdown levels of frustration, pent up and driving, they deliver on this release.
