I have spent many years in my career as a contract graphic designer in digital and print. I have had many different creative contract roles, which has given me a broad range of experience with people and projects. My last contracting position was at The University of Del

aware assisting in their rebrand of all design materialsโ€”from large banners to bus wraps, social and web graphics to print work such as brochures, lanyards and the UD Magazine. I really enjoyed my time at UD. Go Rabbit Design is my freelance company. In the portfolio link you will see my collection of design work from paid contract roles to personal clients. If you are in need of a designer, please feel free to reach out to me with your specific project needs. Cheers! Elena Piotti

Boundaries are a part of adult life. You should be very hesitant about people who donโ€™t respect your boundaries!

"The Need to Say No" by Jill Brooke is a book that explores the importance of setting boundaries and saying no in various aspects of life.

Here are 10 lessons from the book:

1. Boundaries are Essential: Setting boundaries is crucial for maintaining your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Brooke emphasizes the importance of knowing your limits and being assertive in asserting them.

2. Respect Your Own Needs: Prioritize your own needs and well-being. Brooke teaches readers to value themselves enough to say no when something doesn't align with their values, priorities, or goals.

3. Saying No is Empowering: Saying no can be empowering and liberating. Brooke encourages readers to recognize that saying no is not selfish but rather an act of self-care and self-respect.

4. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself when saying no. Brooke emphasizes the importance of practicing self-compassion and letting go of guilt or self-criticism when setting boundaries.

5. It's Okay to Prioritize Yourself: Putting yourself first is not selfish; it's necessary for your well-being. Brooke teaches readers that prioritizing themselves allows them to show up more fully for others in the long run.

6. Honor Your Time and Energy: Your time and energy are valuable resources. Brooke encourages readers to protect their time and energy by saying no to commitments or activities that drain them or do not serve their best interests.

7. Set Clear Expectations: Communicate your boundaries clearly and assertively. Brooke teaches techniques for effectively communicating your boundaries to others in a respectful and assertive manner.

8. Know Your Values: Understanding your values helps you make decisions that align with your authentic self. Brooke encourages readers to reflect on their values and use them as a guide for setting boundaries and saying no.

9. Practice Saying No Gracefully: Saying no doesn't have to be confrontational or rude. Brooke teaches readers how to say no gracefully and respectfully, while still honoring their own needs and boundaries.

10. Trust Your Instincts: Trust your instincts when deciding whether to say yes or no to a request. Brooke advises readers to listen to their intuition and honor their inner wisdom when making decisions about setting boundaries.

These lessons from "The Need to Say No" provide valuable insights and strategies for setting boundaries, honoring your needs, and saying no with confidence and grace.

Go Rabbit Design

Welcome to my freelance graphic design page on Facebook! I started Go Rabbit Design back in 2011. People always ask me why I named my business go rabbit. My reply usually is that rabbits are fast, but thatโ€™s not entirely why I named my business what I did. Rabbits are not just quick, they have impeccable hearing, strong claws and undeniable instincts. I would like to think that I listen to what people want, design quickly and rely on my instincts and knowledge to give them what they need for their business. I try to be fair and build relationships through what I do so people enjoy the experience and come back again.

Thatโ€™s it in a nut shell. Please check out my website for work experience and samples. Reach out to me at [email protected] with any questions or quotes. Thanks for stopping by.
