While news may be slow here in Clarksville and surrounding areas this week, of course things out east with recovery efforts are strong underway as they go into week 2 since Hurricane Helene devastated multiple cities and towns with extreme flooding. I personally use to work at the Montgomery County Highway Department and it warmed heart to see our guys from here going out there to help out. I’m sure there are other teams from here in Clarksville that went. It goes to show the Volunteer spirit we as Tennesseean’s have. Remember going back to December when we had the tornado come through, we had people from all over the US to come here to help. We here at Dash 10 covered just a small portion of those groups. And now we are helping others in need. Remember these workers as they are out there helping, doing what they can. Let them be safe, and give them lots of energy.

Hello everyone!
There is an important update that needs to be regarded.

My name is Enrique Hernandez, I’m the owner and founder of Dash 10 Media. I started this project in 2017 when I was starting to find my passion and interest with journalism and mass media production. I started out in Nashville as a small time photographer capturing crashes here and there. Sometimes fires as well. This project has developed into a great one and I’m proud of the support I have received from all of my supporters, my family, my friends, and from my professional networking contacts.

It is time for me to continue on my journey as a journalist. I will not be in the Clarksville/Oak Grove area anymore. I will be leaving to another state for a great job opportunity to advance my career. As much as I enjoyed working here and how much I enjoyed covering breaking news stories that Clarksville and Oak Grove had to offer and show for, it’s time to advance.

As for the future of Dash 10 Media, it is uncertain at this time. For now I will let it go on with Ross. It was great being here and I couldn’t have ever grown this page like it did without everyone’s support. For that, I thank you all sincerely.

Sincerely,
Enrique Hernandez
Owner/Founder

A moment to remember all of the victims who died on this day. The heroes who tried to save others in the towers. The first responders and tower employees who tragically never made it back home. The folks on the planes who died fighting. One of the worst days in modern American history.

Remember, flames = actual fire

It's that time of year again! As to***co farmers begin harvesting their dark-fired to***co crops, it is common to see whiteish-blue smoke coming from the barns. For over a century, farmers in our area have been growing, harvesting, and curing to***co, a process that requires subjecting to***co leaves to smoke from a smoldering wood fire. If you see smoke rising out of a barn, it’s just a farmer getting their harvest ready. Once flames are spotted, please call 911.

Help spread the word to our new residents in Montgomery County.
